HTC Launches Dual-SIM Smarphone in India


HTC, the Taiwanese multinational technology giant, doesn't seem to be experiencing good times right now. Things seem to be falling apart on the sales charts and the recent models are turning out a flop in the Indian as well as global market. With the present 'smartphone lifestyle', it is literally raining Androids in every part of the country. HTC looks to cement its position in the Indian market, and the report that HTC Desire V dual-SIM is now available in Indian market may just be the way for HTC to do so. Currently, online shopping portals are selling this product for Rs. 21,999. HTC Desire V comes with latest operating system platform - Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich accompanied by a 5 mega-pixel primary camera with a huge 4 inch TFT capacitive display touchscreen and a 1GHz Cortex-A5 Processo.


The phone is Wi-Fi enabled and comes with an expandable storage capacity of 32GB. The display of the mobile comes with huge 16 million color resolution and a WGVA pixel resolution of 480 X 800. The 5 Megapixel camera of HTC Desire V comes with LED flash with additional features such as video recording, Auto-focus and geo-tagging. This phone in the candy bar format and is significantly light – just 14gms and fits into one's palm well and the interface provided is very friendly. The phone works on 1650 mAh Li-Ion battery and an internal memory of 4 GB. For local data transfer features like GPRS, Edge, USB and Bluetooth are provided well inside the device. The phone may seem a little overpriced but a smartphone with dual-sim function is a feature that can easily be appreciated. That been said, the phone can attract a large audience in India.
